\\ COURSE DESCRIPTION
Our scenic courses begin at Humpert Park on the East side of Mt. Angel. From there, runners head out into the beautiful countryside surrounding our village. Runners will pass by hop farms and nurseries enroute to the finish. 10k participants will race around the base of the Mt. Angel Abbey before returning to finish on city streets. 5k participants will head out of town approximately 1.1 miles before returning to finish on city streets. The entire course is paved with some minor hills. Aid stations will be available along the course. The first station is near mile 1, followed immediately by the 5k turn around (marked with green cones). The 10k continues counter clockwise around the base of the Mt. Angel Abbey hill on Humpert Lane, Hook Road, and on to Downs Road. The second water station will be on Downs Road between mile 2 & 3.
